Our youth leave Friday

I just want to take this opportunity to remind everyone our youth will be leaving this Friday afternoon for their trip to Gatlinburg.  Laura and I (and I'm sure many more would like to, as well) would love to be there.  

We will all be praying for your safe trip to and from, and that you will experience a moving of the Spirit that will leave you filled with joy, peace, humbled, and energized to live a life that glorifies our Father in Heaven.

Sunday evening is our business meeting and dessert social will follow.  Since the youth will be gone, there will be more for us!

Matthew 7:11     If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

As we are still pretty fresh into the new year, Let's take the time to remember the words of Christ found in Revelation 21:5 when He said, "Behold, I make all thengs new."  It is my sincere prayer that the new things you all will be seeing (including this blog) will help to draw us closer to Christ, closer to one another, and help to strengthen our ministry to each other and our community.  

This blog is set up to give news, encouragement, and any other useful information as quickly as possible.  I hope you all find the contents helpful, uplifting, and reassuring.
